Liberty stars Essence Carson and Kia Vaughn showed their support at the classic as well as Becky Hammon of the Silver Stars and WNBA legend Vicki Johnson. This was the first year of the Cappie Pondexter Wheelchair Classic. Half of the proceeds went to Wheelchair Charities and half to the Garden of Dreams Foundation.
