USA Basketball announced the 21-member 2007-08 USA Women’s Senior National Team. This group of seasoned veterans and rising stars will train together over the next two years as the U.S. attempts at the 2007 FIBA Americas Championship to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games and then defend its three consecutive Olympic gold medal winning streak. Phoenix’s 34-game regular season schedule runs from May 19 through August 19 and includes four nationally televised games. The June 2 contest at the Connecticut Sun will be broadcasted on ABC while the June 5 and July 17 home games against the Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm, respectively, and the August 7 matchup in Los Angeles with the Sparks will be carried by ESPN2.
