Ekaterinburg saw the battle between two best teams nowadays in Russia as UMMC rolled past Spartak Moscow Region 70:64. The hosts opened the game with 19-11 and never looked behind in the battle.  Cappie Pondexter shined in the third period and both teams left the quarter at 53:44 before the last 10 minutes of the game.  Sandrine Gruda led the winners with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Cappie collected 14 points and dished out 7 assists. Maria Stepanova ended up with 13 points and 12 boards and Deana Nolan added 10 points.
